Travis Garton has had a diverse work experience, starting in 2006 as the Assistant Plant Manager at Arizona Shower Door. Travis then progressed to become a Branch Manager, before ultimately being promoted to Vice President of Branch Operations in November 2016. Prior to their time at Arizona Shower Door, Travis worked as a High School Mathematics Teacher and Assistant Wrestling Coach at Wheatland High School from September 2005 to May 2006.

Travis Garton attended Dickinson State University from 2001 to 2004, majoring in Mathematics Teacher Education. Travis received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in that field of study.
