Paul Berggreen is an experienced medical professional with a focus on gastroenterology and healthcare leadership. Currently serving as President of the American Independent Medical Practice Association since August 2023, Paul also holds the position of Chief Strategy Officer at GI Alliance since October 2019. As a Board Member of the Digestive Health Physicians Association since February 2014 and President of Arizona Digestive Health, P.C. since its formation in May 2008, Paul has played a key role in expanding one of the largest gastroenterology groups in the U.S. Additionally, Paul founded Smart Clinic, a mobile communication platform aimed at improving patient engagement from January 2014 until December 2018, and previously worked as a gastroenterologist at Gastrointestinal Associates from July 1993 to April 2008. Paul received a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center from 1984 to 1988.
