Rebecca Wilder

Communications Director at Arizona Department of Revenue

Rebecca Wilder has extensive work experience in communications and public relations roles. Rebecca is currently serving as the Communications Director for the Arizona Department of Revenue since June 2021. Prior to this role, they worked as the Communications and Community Affairs Supervisor for the Maricopa County Attorney's Office from March 2016 to July 2020, where they promoted community safety through direct-to-the-public communication and managed community programs. Before that, they were the Communications Director for the Arizona Corporation Commission from November 2007 to July 2015. Rebecca also served as the Senior Manager of Media Relations for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce from 2005 to 2007, where they created and implemented media plans and organized press conferences and events. Their earlier experience includes working as the Press Secretary/Policy Advisor for the Joint Economic Committee of the United States Congress, where they communicated the committee's positions and developed relationships with the media.

Rebecca Wilder holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Arizona, where they studied Political Science and German.
