Michele Rutin

Literacy Coach Coordinator at Arizona Department of Education

Michele Rutin is an experienced education professional currently serving as the P-3 Literacy Coach Coordinator Lead at the Arizona Department of Education and as part-time faculty at Northern Arizona University. Michele previously held the position of Teacher-Leader at Esperanza Community School, where collaborative leadership was emphasized. Prior experience includes serving as a Peer Evaluator at Maricopa County Education Service Agency, focusing on the development and retention of effective teachers, and as a Teacher and Mentor in Madison School District, utilizing data for personalized instruction. Additionally, Michele was the Director at UUEEC, overseeing various operational and community engagement initiatives, and held the role of AVP, Product Manager at Value Health Sciences, directing healthcare software product strategies. Michele holds a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Northern Arizona University, a Master’s in Education from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from the University of Arizona.
