Candice Trainor is an experienced professional in operational management and program development, currently serving as the Director of Operational Management at the Arizona Department of Education since August 2017, after holding the position of Lead Program Management Specialist. Prior roles include Assistant Manager at Pottery Barn and Operations Manager at The Container Store, where Candice was part of the management team for the opening of the Phoenix location. Earlier experience includes the role of Education Program Specialist at the Arizona Department of Education, providing technical assistance in Special Education and coordinating educational initiatives. Candice began their career as a Library Assistant at the Phoenix Public Library, focusing on collection development and computer literacy instruction. Candice holds a B.S. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the University of Arizona, completed in 2003.
