Philip Prehn is an experienced community organizer and advocate dedicated to social justice and disability rights. Currently serving as a Community Organizer for Syracuse United Neighbors since August 2021, Philip previously held a similar role at the organization from February 1994 to August 2014. In addition, Philip has been a Systems Change Advocate at ARISE CNY since August 2014, focusing on advancing the goals of the disability rights movement and fostering leadership within the disability community. Early in their career, Philip contributed as a VISTA Volunteer at the Auburn Correctional Facility from April 1992 to September 1993. Philip holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Pennsylvania, completed between 1978 and 1983, and graduated from Fayetteville-Manlius High School in 1978.
