Prachi Desai

Prachi Desai has a diverse range of work experience in the field of scientific research. Prachi is currently employed as a Scientist at Ariceum Therapeutics since 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Postdoctoral Scientist and PHD Candidate at DWI - Leibniz Institute for Interactive Materials/ RWTH Aachen University from 2019 to 2023. Prachi also worked as a Formulation Researcher I at Teva Pharmaceuticals from 2017 to 2018, and as a Formulation Intern (Master Thesis) at InnoCore Pharmaceuticals from 2016 to 2017. Prachi gained experience as a Student Research Assistant at Ghent University in 2016, as well as a Research Assistant at Texas A&M University from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, Prachi worked as a Research Intern (Bachelor Thesis) at Harvard Medical School in 2013 and as a Student Assistant at SASTRA University from 2011 to 2012.

Prachi Desai has an extensive education history in the fields of chemistry and biomedical/medical engineering. Prachi completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University from 2019 to 2022. Prior to that, they pursued a Master's Degree in Biomedical/Medical Engineering at the University of Groningen from 2016 to 2017 and at Ghent University from 2015 to 2016. Prachi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Biotechnology from Shanmugha Arts, Science, Technology and Research Academy, which they obtained from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Prachi has obtained several certifications to enhance their professional skills. Prachi completed the "Good Clinical Practice ICH GCP for Clinical Research" certification at Udemy in January 2023. In February 2021, they obtained the "Good Scientific Practice (GSP)" certification from RWTH Aachen University. Furthermore, Prachi earned the "Federation of European Laboratory Animal Science Associations (FELASA-B)" certification from RWTH Aachen University in November 2019.
