Kerim Åžener is a mining executive with over 15 years of experience in the industry. Kerim is currently the Managing Director at Ariana Resources, and has held previous positions as the Non Executive Chairman at Panther Metals PLC and a Non Executive Director at Royal Road Minerals Limited and Genesis Resources Limited.

Åžener began their career in 2006 as a Non Executive Director at Genesis Resources Limited. Kerim then moved to Lydian International Ltd in 2010, where they and their team discovered and developed the Amulsar Gold deposit in Armenia. In 2015, they left Lydian to join Panther Metals PLC as their Non Executive Chairman. Åžener has been with Ariana Resources since 2018, and has been instrumental in growing the company into a leading exploration and development company in the precious metals sector.

Kerim Åžener has a PhD in Geology from The University of Western Australia, an MSc DIC in Mineral Exploration from Imperial College London, and a BSc (Hons) in Geology from the University of Southampton. Kerim also has a High School diploma from Trinity School of John Whitgift.
