Silvia Bucci is currently serving as a Machine Learning & A.I. Engineer at ARGOTEC since February 2023. Bucci has also been a PhD student and Teaching Assistant Professor at Politecnico di Torino since November 2019, focusing on Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Additional experience includes a role as a Visiting Researcher at The University of Edinburgh from September to December 2022 and a Scientific Researcher at Frontier Development Lab during the summer of 2022. Prior to this, Bucci held a position as a Junior Research Fellow at Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia and worked as a Project Assistant at Technische Universität Wien. Educational qualifications consist of a Doctor of Philosophy in Computer Vision from Politecnico di Torino (2019-2023), a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics from Sapienza Università di Roma (2015-2018), and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering and Automation from the same institution (2012-2015).
