Marco Gonzalez is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in telecommunications and network engineering. Currently serving as a 5G Solution Architect at Ericsson since March 2021, Marco has led various projects including the KDDI 5G SA project and 5GC Verification & QA team. Previously, Marco held the role of Senior Site Reliability Engineer at Rakuten Mobile, where responsibilities included implementing virtualized cloud-native mobile networks and leading the 5G SA Core integration. Prior roles at Entel Perú encompassed NFVI Cloud and VAS Engineering Coordinator, with significant contributions in deploying open-source EPC solutions and engineering in-house data processing solutions. Marco’s career began at Scotiabank as an Information Security & Compliance Analyst and includes roles as a Network Engineer at Nokia Siemens Networks. Academic achievements include ongoing Master of Science studies in Computer Science at Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and previous master's degrees in Information Technology from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya and Universidad Peruana de Ciencias Aplicadas, along with a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering.
