Chi Su has extensive experience as a chemist, currently working at Argonne National Laboratory since February 2014, where responsibilities include leading high voltage electrolyte projects and developing novel electrolytes and additives for various battery technologies, resulting in eight US patent applications. Prior to this, Chi Su studied at Brown University from 2008 to 2014, earning a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry while developing advanced NMR techniques, synthesizing chiral amine ligands, and optimizing reactions involving reactive intermediates. Academic training began with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tsinghua University from 2004 to 2008, providing a solid foundation for expertise in organic synthesis and characterizing complex chemical compounds.
