Jim Hirshorn is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in operations, finance, and strategic management. Currently serving as a Partner and Operating Advisor at Ares Management since January 2009, Jim has previously held key leadership roles, including President of Potbelly Sandwich Works and Senior Executive VP of Operations, Finance, and R&D at Sealy Mattress Corporation. Jim's career also includes serving as EVP at Bain Capital, where responsibilities focused on the operational performance of portfolio companies, and as a Manager at Bain & Company. Educational credentials include an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BS in Chemical Engineering from Cornell University.
