James Marden

James Marden has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles in the engineering and defense sectors. James started their career as an Engineering Intern at Ryobi and Ross Cosmetics in 1990 and 1991, respectively. James then worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant Instructor at Auburn University from 1992 to 1993. James joined IBM as a Co-Op in 1993 before moving on to Booz Allen Hamilton in 1995, where they worked as an Associate, supporting Boeing in the System Engineering & Integration (SE&I) role. During their time at Booz Allen Hamilton, they also served as a Project Lead for Satellite Based Radar to war-fighter communication studies at Space and Missile Defense Center (SMDC) Battle Labs.

In 2005, they joined Magnacom, Inc as the Special Projects Division Manager, supporting the GMD and Engineering - Systems Engineering Analysis Division (GME-A) for the NAVSEA Warfare Center - Dahlgren Division (NSWC-DD). James then transitioned to MagnaCom Development Services, Inc in 2007, where they stood up the company as the General Manager. James also served as the Program Manager of the Boeing Ground-Based Missile Defense (GMD) Contract. In 2009, they became the Director of Business Development at MagnaCom, Inc, responsible for proposals and business development opportunities.

James joined ARES Corporation in 2010 and held two roles within the company. James worked as the Systems Engineering Manager and later became the Manager, Huntsville Space and Defense Operations. In the latter role, they were responsible for evaluating potential business opportunities, coordinating and directing office projects, and integrating technical activities. Throughout their various positions, James has demonstrated their expertise in engineering, systems integration, and project management in the defense industry.

James Marden has a strong educational background in engineering and computer science. James obtained their Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering (BAE) degree from Auburn University, where they studied from 1988 to 1992. Following this, they pursued further studies in Computer Science & Engineering at the same university and completed a Master's degree in MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) by 1997. In addition to their formal education, James Marden also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) from the Project Management Institute in May 2011.
