As Associate Design Director, Maxime builds clear and rational graphic systems with a strong focus on content and user needs. Since joining AREA 17 in 2014, his key engagements include Barnes Foundation, Van Clef & Arpels and the Fondation Louis Vuitton.
Maxime became fascinated with design through his interest in graffiti; more broadly through urban culture and its iconography. Although he studied at the celebrated École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts, Maxime is primarily self-taught. Acquiring skills and knowledge through hands-on professional experience, Maxime has worked with several digital agencies exploring varied approaches to graphic design.
Like 99% of all Parisian designers, Maxime enjoys bike riding and taking pictures with a silver film camera. He claims he doesn’t like potato chips, though we don’t really believe him. We do believe that he attended a kung fu lesson, once.
