Mats Lindskog currently serves as a Strategisk rådgivare at Åre kommun since October 2024. Prior to this role, Mats was Kommunikationsdirektör at Sveriges Kommuner och Regioner from January 2023 to September 2024, where responsibilities included strategic support to the CEO and central functions in strategic management. Mats also held the position of Kommunikationsdirektör at Västerås stad from April 2001 to January 2023, overseeing communication for 13 departments and leading a team of approximately 70 staff members. Educational background includes a Master of Political Science from Örebro University, along with various leadership and communication training from universities and institutes like the Stockholm School of Economics and Berghs School of Communication.
