Erin Towns is a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Maine, where Erin teaches World History, Global Contemporary Issues, Maine Cultural Heritage, and UN Sustainable Development. Erin is also a World History Teacher at Auburn School Department. Erin is actively involved in various educational programs and fellowships, such as being a PolarTREC Educator in the Arctic, a Co Founder of Maine GIS Education Partners, and an educator for the Camden Conference In The Classroom Program. Erin holds a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Social Sciences and Secondary Education and Teaching from the University of Maine at Farmington, and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Earth and Climate Science at the University of Maine.
