Xuefeng Guo's work experience includes working as a Scientist at Arcturus Therapeutics, where they developed new analytical methodologies for nucleic acid-based API and drug product formulations. Xuefeng collaborated with a team of scientists to design and perform laboratory research experiments. Xuefeng also optimized and trouble-shot existing analytical methodologies.
Prior to that, Xuefeng worked as a Scientist, Antibody Analytics at Sorrento Therapeutics, Inc., where they developed and validated analytical methods for biological drugs analysis. Xuefeng characterized therapeutic antibody products using various techniques such as LC-MS, peptide mapping, and HPLC.
Xuefeng also had an internship at Impossible Foods, where they developed fully-automated high-throughput proteomics sample preparation methods. Xuefeng performed proteomics analysis on various samples and evaluated different sample preparation methods.
During their time at Brown University, Xuefeng worked as a Graduate Research Assistant, where they designed, synthesized, and characterized an activity-based probe for human arginase. Xuefeng also performed bottom-up proteomics to identify proteins in complex biological samples. Additionally, they served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for organic chemistry courses and taught and guided undergraduate students in the lab.
Xuefeng Guo pursued their education in Chemistry. Xuefeng began their academic journey in 2010 at the University of Science and Technology of China, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Following this, they joined Brown University in 2014 and spent the next five years there. During this period, Xuefeng Guo completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemistry.
