James Walker has a diverse work experience in various roles. James is currently working as a Team Lead in Research and Development at Arctic Wolf since April 2022. Prior to this, they worked at GoSecure from October 2019 to November 2021 as a Software Developer, and from April 2017 to October 2019 as an Application Security Developer. In 2016, James worked as a Student Researcher at Dalhousie University, where they worked on a project related to bacterial resistance to antibiotics. Before that, they served as a Chemistry Laboratory Teaching Assistant at the University of Saskatchewan from 2011 to 2013.

James Walker completed their education at Dalhousie University from 2014 to 2017, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2013, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Chemistry at the University of Saskatchewan. Their undergraduate studies took place at the University of Saskatchewan as well, where they earned a Bachelor of Science Honours degree in Chemistry from 2008 to 2011.
