Wim Van der Stricht has extensive experience at ArcelorMittal, starting in May 2000 and currently serving in various technology strategy roles focused on CO2 reduction and the circular economy since April 2010. Previous positions include financial coordination for strategic projects in both the CTO Technology Strategy and FCE CTO Business Development, as well as a managerial role in Management Information Services. Earlier career roles encompassed business information management and specialization in systems and models. Wim holds an MBA in Industrial Management, a PhD in Engineering, and an undergraduate degree in Engineering Physics, all from Ghent University, and completed secondary education with a focus on Latin, Science, and Mathematics at Atheneum Sint-Niklaas.
