Lieven Bracke has extensive experience in the steel industry, currently serving on the decarbonisation business integration team at ArcelorMittal since October 2010, where responsibilities include project leadership in steel product development and mentoring new colleagues and trainees. Prior to this, Bracke worked as a researcher at Corus Steel from November 2006 to October 2010, leading projects focused on steel development. Bracke's academic background includes a PhD from Ghent University in Materials Science with a focus on Metallurgy, complemented by a educational program at Hemaco.
