Durgesh Chokade is an accomplished professional in the pipe manufacturing and coating industry, currently serving as the Director of Pipe and Coating at ArcelorMittal since January 2024. Prior to this role, Chokade held the position of Senior Vice President of Operations at Man Industries Ltd from October 2020 to November 2023, overseeing unit operations, and previously served as Vice President and Business Unit Head for large diameter HSAW/LSAW pipe manufacturing and carbon steel pipe coating from May 2018 to October 2020 at the same company. Chokade's extensive experience includes key leadership positions at Suzlon Wind Energy Ltd, Essar Steel India Limited, and Welspun, among others, and a solid educational foundation with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from Symbiosis, Pune.
