Patricia Cornet ’91 was elected to the Board of Trustees at Arcadia University in 2021. Cornet is the Senior Director, Patient Advocacy, Oncology in Corporate Affairs at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) in Lawrenceville, N.J., where she leads strategic collaborations between BMS and large community-based networks.
With nearly 20 years of experience working in public health, Cornet specializes in creating and driving the education, clinical research, and data of innovative medicines to ensure patients receive the best care and treatment. At BMS, Cornet has previously held the leadership positions of director of Global Lead for Scientific Societies and Cooperative Groups, as well as associate director roles.
Cornet is co-founder and head of Women of Color in PHARMA, located in Somerset, N.J., which brings together women of color in the pharmaceutical industry in a nurturing and safe environment to promote personal and professional development. She also served as a board member of Health Occupational Students Association, and previously served on the board of Westrick Music Academy. She earned a Master of Arts in Human Services Administration from Rider University and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Arcadia University (then Beaver College) in 1991. She’s currently enrolled in a Public Health doctorate program at Walden University.
