Kevin Shollenberger ‘88 was elected to the Board of Trustees in June 2020. As Vice Provost for Student Health and Well-Being at Johns Hopkins University (JHU), Shollenberger is responsible for the university’s wellness, mental health, and primary care resources for the JHU system. He was appointed Vice Provost in August 2019 and is the first person to hold this position at JHU. He started at JHU in 2013 initially serving as the Vice Provost for Student Affairs.
Prior to joining JHU, Shollenberger served as associate dean of Students and then as associate vice president and dean of Students Affairs at Columbia University. With over 33 years of experience in higher education, he brings a wealth of knowledge about the student experience and well-being.
Shollenberger holds a Master of Education in Counseling and Student Development in Higher Education from American University and a bachelor’s degree in Psychobiology from Arcadia University.
