Aditya Jangid is a Research Associate at Arc Institute since May 2022, focusing on mobile genetic elements through both computational and experimental approaches. Prior experience includes a Research Assistant position at UC Berkeley College of Engineering, where work involved Cas13 diagnostics and SARS-CoV-2 research from May 2021 to May 2022. Aditya was also a Clinical Research Assistant at Cal Poly College of Science & Mathematics, contributing to the establishment of a saliva-based SARS-CoV-2 surveillance lab and developing microfluidic assays. Additional experience includes a summer research fellowship at NYU Grossman School of Medicine in 2019, centered on neurodegenerative diseases, and participation as a Division I athlete in swimming with NCAA honors from August 2017 to September 2018. Aditya holds a Master of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo.
