Sumo Desai is currently a Senior Associate at the Arbor Day Foundation, focusing on the launch of Arbor Day Ventures to invest in early-stage climate tech companies. As Managing Partner at the Peachtree Minority Venture Fund, Sumo Desai is dedicated to providing equitable access to capital for Black, LatinX, and Native American founders. Previous experience includes roles as a Venture Capital Spring Intern at Circadian Ventures and as the Founder of Sumo Test Prep, which developed automated test preparation tools. Sumo Desai's career at Kaplan Test Prep included positions as a Pre-health Lead Content Developer and Graduate Advisor, contributing to various educational resources. Sumo Desai holds an MBA from Emory University - Goizueta Business School and has additional educational experience from Emory University and the University of South Florida.
