Michael Aamand is an experienced professional in data science and analytics with a strong background in leading teams and projects within the financial sector. Currently serving as the Commercial Analytics Lead at Arbejdernes Landsbank since May 2023, Michael previously held multiple senior roles at Danske Bank from December 2013 to June 2023, including Vice President and Head of Data Science Engineering and Vice President and Head of Commercial Analytics, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing data science strategy, BI solutions, and machine learning operations. Prior to Danske Bank, Michael worked at Netcompany as a Senior Consultant and Consultant, and at SimCorp as a System Development Consultant, focusing on software development within financial settings. Michael holds a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from DTU - Technical University of Denmark.
