Alemea Girmay currently serves as the Dean at the Faculty of Architecture and Urban Planning at Arba Minch University since March 2023. Prior to this role, Alemea has held various positions at Arba Minch University since November 2011, including Lecturer, Head of the Chair of Architectural Design, Head of the Chair of Housing and Urban Design, Assistant Lecturer, and Graduate Assistant Lecturer II. Alemea Girmay holds a Master of Science in Housing and Sustainable Development from Addis Ababa University, EiABC, obtained between 2013 and 2015, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture and Urban Planning from Mekelle University, completed in 2010.
