Mark Hwang currently serves as General Counsel at Aravest since December 2024. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Group Head of Legal at ESR from January 2022 to December 2024, and previously worked as General Counsel and Head of Legal & Compliance at ARA Asset Management between March 2017 and January 2022. Mark's experience also includes being Director of Legal and Business Development at Nuri Holdings from 2009 to February 2017, and an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley's Real Estate Investment Banking division in Southeast Asia from 2007 to 2008. Earlier roles include serving as Foreign Associate at Paul Hastings, Partner at Allen & Gledhill, and Deputy Public Prosecutor and State Counsel at the Attorney General's Chambers in Singapore. Mark holds an LLM in Corporate and Commercial Law from UCL and an LLB from the National University of Singapore.
