Ananta Karmakar is an accomplished Organic Chemist specializing in synthesis, currently serving as Associate Director at Aragen Life Sciences in Bangalore since March 2023. Prior experience includes a role as Senior Principal Investigator at BBRC, Syngene International from August 2011 to March 2023, and positions as Senior Postdoctoral Fellow at both the University of Regensburg and The Scripps Research Institute. Ananta's academic journey began with a Master's degree in Organic Chemistry from Visva Bharati, Shantiniketan, followed by a Bachelor's degree from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, completed in 2007.
