John Baxter serves as the CEO and President of Compass Associates, Inc., a strategic competitive intelligence firm since September 1989. In addition to their executive role, John Baxter has been an adjunct professor of Marketing and Management at Aquinas College since January 2001, teaching courses such as Management Strategy and Marketing Strategy. John Baxter has held faculty positions at prominent institutions, including the University of Notre Dame and Michigan State University, where John also coached the national championship team in team selling competition. Prior to their academic career, John Baxter served in the U.S. Navy, working with NATO and various tactical support bases during the Vietnam War. John Baxter holds advanced degrees from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University.
