Nienke Vledder has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. They are currently a Senior Investment Director at Aquila Capital since 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chair of the Investment Committee at ROM Utrecht Region starting in 2021. In 2022, they were a Member of the Supervisory Board at Soly.nl and a Member of the LP Advisory Committee at Energy Impact Partners. Nienke also had roles as a Member of the Supervisory Board at NET2GRID from 2021 to 2022, and as a Senior Portfolio Manager for the Dutch Energy Transition Fund at APG Asset Management from 2019 to 2022. They were a Member of the Board of Directors at Katholieke Montessorischool Bussum (KMS) from 2019 to 2022. Earlier in their career, Nienke held positions at InnovationQuarter as a Fund Manager and Senior Investment Manager, and as the Owner of Principal Partner. They also worked as an Alumni Facilitator at Nyenrode Business Universiteit from 2012 to 2014.

Nienke Vledder completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Hospitality Administration/Management from CHN in 1996. Nienke later obtained a Master of Science (MSc) in Financial Management from Nyenrode Business University in 2000.
