Lars Hansen has extensive experience in leadership roles across various organizations, currently serving as a Board Member at Aquaporin A/S since March 2015. Lars was the Executive Director/CEO of VILLUM FONDEN # VELUX FONDEN from 2014 until June 2024 and served as Chairman at Fondenes Videnscenter from December 2017 to March 2022. Prior experience includes positions as Corporate Vice President and President for Region Europe at Novozymes from 2010 to 2014, President of Novozymes North America from 2008 to 2009, and President of Novozymes Japan, where responsibilities included overseeing all activities in Japan and Korea. Additionally, Lars was the Managing Director for Novozymes Malaysia and held the role of Sales and Marketing Director for Enzymes at Novo Nordisk China.
