Erik M Mathiesen serves as the Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer at Aqualung Carbon Capture since February 2021. Erik M has been a Member of the Board of Advisors at Carnegie Investment Bank since 2019 and holds the position of Chairman of the Board at Storm Capital Management AS since 2018. Erik has also chaired Newocean Energy AS until 2023 and served as a Board Member at Segulah Advisor AB from 2017 to 2023, contributing as a senior advisor for GP Funds. Erik M's previous roles include Board Member positions at Meraker Brug, Bember AS, and Polarcus, and Senior Vice President of Business Development at Siem Industries Inc. Erik was a Founding Partner and CEO of Storm Capital Management Ltd. from 2006 to 2017, focusing on investment management in energy, shipping, and real estate. Erik holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from The University of Edinburgh.
