Nick Verhelst is a data analytics consultant at Plainsight since January 2024, with extensive experience in data engineering and analytics across various organizations. Previously, Nick worked as a Databricks Engineer and Technical Coach at Movianto/ETP and served as a Senior Data Engineer at Aquafin, where responsibilities included designing cloud infrastructure and providing data advisory services. Other notable roles include Data Scientist at The Grain, Information Expert Data Quality at Argenta, and Research Scientist at the University of Antwerp, alongside teaching assistant duties. Nick holds a PhD in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics from the University of Antwerp and possesses a strong skill set in technologies such as Python, R, SQL, and AWS.
