Darko Mitev has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2008 at Sergel Group, Darko worked as a Debt Collection Administrator, where they had daily telephone contact with clients, agencies, and debtors, and made decisions regarding deferment plans and foreclosures. From 2009 to 2010, Darko worked at Intrum, initially as a Collection Advisor, responsible for managing clients through the debt collection process and building a client database. Darko then became a Financial Analyst, building complex financial models and providing recommendations to improve financial performance. From 2011 to 2013, Darko took on the role of Senior Financial Analyst, consolidating and analyzing financial data.

In 2015, Darko joined Qliro as a Financial Controller, extracting and analyzing data from the SQL Server database and contributing to the preparation of statutory bank reporting. From 2017 to 2018, Darko worked as a Business Controller at OX2, handling and analyzing large amounts of data and visualizing it for senior management using the BI tool Qlik Sense.

Darko then moved to American Express Global Business Travel, where they held roles as a Business Analyst and later as a Business Data Analyst. In these roles, Darko was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting, as well as automating VAT reporting using Python programming.

Currently, Darko works at Aptic AB as a Business Data Analyst, where they are developing and building the structure for the new Analytics function within the business. Darko leads the business intelligence and business analytics function, focusing on storytelling and data visualization.

Throughout their career, Darko has demonstrated expertise in data analysis, visualization, financial forecasting, and communication of insights to stakeholders.

Darko Mitev's education history includes a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Business Administration and Economics from Stockholm University, which was obtained from 2005 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Darko Mitev has also acquired several certifications. These certifications include "Financial Reporting with Power BI - Structured Course" from Enterprise DNA in August 2022, "SQL for Data Analysis" from Udemy in February 2022, and "Tableau Fundamentals Track" from DataCamp in December 2021. Darko Mitev has also completed various courses and tracks related to data analysis and data science from DataCamp, including "Analyzing Business Data in SQL," "Databases in Python," "Joining Data with Pandas," "Pandas Foundations," "Database Design," "Relational Databases in SQL," "Case Study: School Budgeting with Machine Learning in Python," "Cluster Analysis in Python," "Data Scientist with Python Track," "Machine Learning with Tree-Based Models in Python," "Statistical Thinking in Python (Part 1)," "Statistical Thinking in Python (Part 2)," "Supervised Learning with scikit-learn," "Unsupervised Learning in Python," "Analyzing Police Activity with pandas," "Exploratory Data Analysis in Python," and "Writing Functions in Python." The dates of completion for these courses range from November 2020 to February 2021, and they were all obtained from DataCamp.
