Kelby Mace currently serves as an Operations Research Analyst at ARA since May 2023, following a position as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at North Carolina State University from August 2021 to May 2023. Prior to this, Kelby gained experience as an Engineering Intern at the United States Department of Defense, where clearance for TS/SCI access was achieved in April 2022, and utilized Python libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and Matplotlib. Kelby also worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Maine from September 2019 to May 2021, instructing College Composition and developing curriculum. Additional engineering internships include a role at Main-Land Development Consultants, Inc. focusing on drafting plans in AutoCAD and conducting stormwater modeling, as well as a Quality Control Intern position at Pike Industries. Kelby holds a Master of Engineering in Industrial & Systems Engineering from North Carolina State University, a Master of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Maine, and a Bachelor's degree in Civil & Environmental Engineering from the same institution.
