Robert Banks has over 29 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, primarily with Applied Materials, where tenure began in November 1994. As Director of Manufacturing, Robert oversees production, operations, and engineering, with a focus on new product introduction. Previous roles include Director of Manufacturing Engineering, Senior Operations Manager, and Senior Operations Program Manager, showcasing a strong background in manufacturing and engineering management. Robert also held various global product support positions, starting as a Global Product Support Engineer and advancing to Senior Manager roles. Prior to Applied Materials, Robert worked as an Assistant Programmer at Seagate Technology from March 1994 to November 1994. Robert obtained a BEng (Hons) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Heriot-Watt University between 1989 and 1993.
