Simon Bontempo is an experienced engineer specializing in industrial design and product development within the autonomous vehicle industry. Currently employed at Applied Intuition as an Engineer since July 2024, Simon previously held roles at Gatik as a Senior Industrial Design Engineer and Mechanical Design Engineer, focusing on autonomous vehicles for B2B short-haul logistics. Prior experience includes working as an Industrial Designer at Studio63, where Simon contributed to multi-award-winning designs in various sectors, and as an Installer at Windows by Design. Additional roles include a Product Design Intern at Designforce and a Sales Representative at LT Source for Sports. Simon Bontempo holds a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial/Product Design from Carleton University, earned in 2018, following graduation from Blessed Trinity High School in 2013.
