Claire Lloyd-Hickey is a seasoned business development professional with extensive experience in strategic marketing and communications. Currently serving as the Senior Business Development Manager - Global at Appleby since December 2013, Claire is instrumental in devising and executing commercial strategies aimed at expanding the firm’s presence in key markets. Prior to this role, Claire held the position of Senior Business Development & Marketing Manager at Ogier, focusing on the global investment funds strategy and managing business development for various practice groups in the Cayman Islands and British Virgin Islands. Claire's career also includes significant roles such as Deputy Director of Public Relations for the Cayman Islands Government, where responsibilities encompassed implementing global communications for the financial services sector, and Head of Corporate Communications at the UK Ministry of Defence, where efforts were directed toward establishing brand value for a government trading fund. Claire holds a Master's Degree in Marketing Management from the University of Southampton.
