Zhaoyu Zhaoyu is a skilled engineer with extensive experience in semiconductor devices and characterization. Currently serving as a Pixel Development Engineer at Apple since September 2024, Zhaoyu previously held the position of Senior Staff Scientist in Chip Characterization at Quantum-Si from June 2019 to September 2024. Prior to that, Zhaoyu worked as a Senior Product Characterization Engineer and Product Characterization Engineer at OmniVision Technologies, Inc. from December 2016 to June 2019. Zhaoyu began a career in research as a Research Assistant at Arizona State University from August 2011 to November 2016, focusing on semiconductor optoelectronic device design and testing. Zhaoyu earned a PhD in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Tsinghua University.
