Siddharth Swaminathan is an experienced professional in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Autonomous Systems. Currently serving as the Planning Team Lead and Engineering Manager for Autonomous Decision Making at Apple since May 2016, Siddharth has also held positions as a Research Engineer focusing on similar technologies. Prior to Apple, Siddharth contributed as a Senior Vehicle Intelligence Engineer in Autonomous Driving at Mercedes-Benz Research & Development North America, Inc. and worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at The Robotics Institute, Carnegie Mellon University. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras. Additional early career experience includes roles as a Summer Trainee at ITC Limited and a Research Intern at GE’s Global Research Center in Bangalore, India.
