Hemanth Sangappa is a seasoned professional in the field of machine learning and data science, currently serving as a Machine Learning Manager at Apple since October 2023. Prior to this role, Hemanth held multiple positions at Entrupy, including Machine Learning Manager, Lead Data Scientist, and Consultant from September 2020 to September 2023. Hemanth also contributed to Walmart Labs India as a Senior Data Scientist and Associate Data Scientist between December 2018 and September 2020. Starting their career at AllGoVision, Hemanth worked as a Senior Researcher and Intern, and previously held positions at Mindtree and Motorola Mobility as a Project Lead and Software Engineer respectively. Hemanth holds a PhD and an MS in Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Science, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication from Bangalore University.
