Farzan Tariq has extensive experience in engineering program management, primarily in cloud storage and infrastructure. Currently serving as an Engineering Program Manager for Cloud Storage Infrastructure SRE at Apple since March 2024, Farzan previously held key roles at Citadel, including Principal Technical Program Manager in Platform Database & Cloud Engineering and Storage Engineering & Infrastructure, where significant cost savings and performance improvements were achieved. Prior to Citadel, Farzan worked at Amazon Web Services (AWS) as a Senior Technical Program Manager for S3, and at Dell EMC as a Senior Platform Architect and Senior Signal Integrity Hardware Design Lead. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Engineering & Management from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute.
