Eric Jol is a highly experienced professional in product design and engineering, currently serving as Senior Director of Interconnect and Powered Accessories Product Design at Apple since April 2009. At Apple, Eric has progressed through various roles, including Director of InterconnectPD for iPhone Product Design and Senior Manager of Product Design, focusing on interconnect product management. Prior to Apple, Eric spent over a decade at Nortel Networks, where roles included Interconnect R&D Prime and various design engineering positions. Additionally, Eric gained valuable experience at Flextronics as an Interconnect Design Engineer. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Royal Military College of Canada, earned between 1990 and 1994.
