Cristian Marcu is an experienced RFIC Design Engineer at Apple since April 2015, specializing in RFIC design for mobile wireless applications. Prior to this role, Cristian worked as a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm from May 2011 to April 2015 and held a position as a Member of Technical Staff at Atheros Communications for a brief period before its acquisition by Qualcomm. Cristian's earlier experience includes research and instructional roles at the University of California, Berkeley, focusing on 60GHz LO generation and teaching integrated circuits. Cristian gained initial engineering experience through several internships at Qualcomm and Beckman Coulter, contributing to various designs in wireless and medical instrumentation. Cristian holds a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine.
