Ashwin Johri is a Product Design Engineer at Apple since May 2022, focusing on iPhone development. Prior to this role, Ashwin served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Matterport, where contributions were made to the Camera Engineering team from 2021 to May 2022. Ashwin's experience also includes a position as a Mechanical Design Engineer with JUUL Labs from 2018 to 2020, and an internship at Toyota North America in 2017, working on drivetrain calibration and evaluation. Additional internships involved battery engineering at Sila Nanotechnologies and research assistance at the University of Michigan's Sakamoto Group, which focused on next-generation battery technologies. Ashwin holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
