Melinda Bogardus serves as a Nurse Practitioner at AppHealthCare since March 2014, focusing on primary care, public and community health, and farmworker health within a Federally Qualified Health Center and District Health Department. In addition, Melinda holds the position of Clinical Instructor at Walden University since August 2013. Previously, Melinda worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine from August 2001 to September 2007. Melinda earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing from East Tennessee State University between 2015 and 2020, a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, from 1996 to 1998, and a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, completed in 1992.
