Isabel A. is currently serving as a Peer Support Specialist at AppHealthCare since May 2023. Prior to this role, Isabel completed an internship at Daymark Recovery Services from August 2023 to August 2024 and worked as a Graduate Assistant at Appalachian State University from August 2021 to August 2023. Additional experience includes a position as a Medical Assistant at StarMed Healthcare from January 2022 to April 2022, serving as Psi Chi president at Appalachian State from January 2021 to May 2021, and acting as a Mental Health Ambassador at Appalachian State University from September 2020 to May 2021. Isabel is pursuing a Master of Arts in Mental Health Counseling at Appalachian State University, expected to be completed in June 2024, and holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Psychology from the same institution, obtained in 2021.
