Simon Kavanagh is an experienced R&D Manager at Appear since January 2024, previously serving as the Head of Innovation for the d|lab at TietoEVRY from January 2018 to January 2024, where the focus was on developing innovative digital solutions across various industries. Prior to TietoEVRY, Simon held multiple leadership roles including Head of Innovation in Public Sector, Chief Designer for Lifecare, and Development Manager at Tieto, spanning from May 2005 to January 2024. Simon began a career in technology as a System Developer at SoftCo and a QA Engineer at Berlitz. Simon holds a degree in Computing from the Institute of Technology, Sligo, and has further education from IxDA Helsinki.
