Beverly Schwartz has extensive experience in social marketing and public health initiatives, currently serving as a Board Member for APOPO and The Harwood Institute for Public Innovation. Schwartz has held the position of Social Entrepreneur in Residence at INSEAD since 2011 and previously contributed to Ashoka as a Senior Strategic Advisor and VP of Partner Relations and Global Marketing from 2004 to 2018. Additional roles include a Prevention Research Fellow at the University of South Florida and leadership positions at Fleishman-Hillard Communications and the Academy for Educational Development, where large-scale social marketing campaigns were developed and managed. Schwartz's early career includes significant contributions at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in HIV/AIDS initiatives and educational outreach at the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Schwartz holds a B.A. and M.S. in Behavioral Science from Queens College.
